Yoga Teacher Training Bali

Bali is a perfect destination for a Yoga Trip and Ubud was the place we liked the most in all of Southeast Asia on the subject of yoga! The place is unique in energy and options for practicing yoga. Ubud is known all over the world for being an energy center, many spiritual groups hold courses and retreats in the region attracting a lot of foreigners! Long before yoga and the spiritual movement arrived in Ubud, the place was already used for spiritual practices by the Balinese people.

The international movement increased a lot after the film Comer, Rezar e Amar that was filmed there. From the success of the film, people from all over the world arrive in Ubud in search of spiritual connection, inner peace, inner healing , guidance, knowledge, learning and exchange of experiences. Even the local curator, Balinese Ketut Liyer, who was featured in the film served in the Ubud region before his spiritual departure. With so much spiritual demand the place was transformed, many yoga instructors and therapists moved to Ubud, not to mention the chefs and people connected with healthy and raw food that made Ubud a strong community with many wonderful courses, restaurants and cafes!

On the subject of yoga , Ubud has many options, from large centers specializing in yoga like Radiantly Alive and Yoga Barn, to smaller and exclusive places like Ubud Yoga House. In addition to these centers there are some options linked to restaurants and cafes such as Seeds of life, which has a lounge above the restaurant to practice yoga. There is also the option of practicing yoga in hotels, some classes are exclusive for guests, others accept guests from outside. These are just a few options, not counting the various yoga retreats held in hotels by instructors from around the world. And if all that weren’t enough, Ubud is home to one of the world’s leading yoga festivals, the Bali Spirit Festival!

Bali is also a place that offers many training courses to be instructors in various yoga modalities, for those interested in courses, just look at the schedule of each studio with the dates and instructors available. For all these reasons, Ubud has developed a very strong yoga community, there are many stores connected to the subject (clothes, mats, incense, aromatherapy, healthy food, books, japamalas and more ..), that is, a paradise for those who love yoga or is starting in practice!
